Believe With The Heart Necklace

Believe With The Heart Necklace is one of my favorite creations. It's so special with the vintage gold plated locket, the vintage chain, the cherry quartz bead on the chain make it so special. The addition of the little chick just clinches the WOW factor of the piece.

I photographed this necklace on a vintage autograph book of a young teacher from Iowa that had her students write in at the end of the school year. I found this autograph book in an antique shop and had to have it. .

I decoupaged Italian style paper with the single word "believe".

The tintype of a young girl seemed fitting to add to this empty locket. Maybe a young girl like her added her sentiments to her teacher's autograph book at the end of the school year.
I added another little lady to the back of the inside of the locket with the sentiment "with the heart" to finish the thought - Believe With The Heart.

This locket is 1" x 1.5 and hangs from a vintage chain that is 24" long.
